Old neighborhood, new digs

Visions Readings at Georgia Renaissance Festival Spring 2025

Saturdays and Sundays April 12th through June 1st plus Memorial Day Monday.

The “reading season” is now underway at the Spring 2025 Georgia Ren Fest, and we’ve hit the ground running with some really big changes this year!

FIRST! As many of you know, the booth that was built by, and home to, my family’s two businesses – Visions Readings and Illusions Gallery – changed hands a few years ago.

Illusions stopped being at the fair and my mom, Joyce, streamlined her business, while Visions continued in the same spot every season right through spring 2024.

Forward to January of this year: the booth changed ownership again and is now in the excellent hands of the kind and clever souls at Bats in the Belfry Goods (go give them a follow under that name on your social media of choice, especially TikTok). The metamorphosis is absolutely mind-blowing – they built a belfry, y’all! – yet true to the ‘bones’ of the old building, and though pictures don’t do it justice I will include some below.

SO, What did that mean for Visions at GARF?

We’re still here! In our same beloved neighborhood of 28 years, now just a few more paces up the hill and across from the Nut House, King’s Hall Stage and Peacock Tea Room. The old familiar signs and fixtures are back with a fresh new deck, and for the spring season we’re in a pretty festive looking blue-burgundy-gold pavilion tent.

There are plans to expand and build a more permanent structure, have a nice garden .. Just focusing on the season at hand now and working with the Fair to see what comes after.

new start, new space in the old neighborhood – Visions Readings (Tarot & Palms) – with readers at GA Ren Fest since ‘87

transformation! The old booth got a lot of TLC and a BIG glow-up from the new owners, Bats in the Belfry Goods

.. still here!
